Act on veterinarian profession and veterinary chambers.

Performing the profession of veterinarian consists in the protection of animals health and veterinary protection of public health and the environment, and in particular: (1) examination of the health state of animals; (2) recognizing, preventing and fighting against diseases of animals; (3) treatment of animals; (4) issuing veterinary opinions; (5) examination of slaughter animals, meat and other products of animal origin; (6) veterinary supervision over trade in animals; (7) examination and veterinary assessment of feed and medicated feed as well as conditions for their production and distribution; 8) use of veterinary medicinal products issued on the prescription of a veterinarian; (9) issuing prescriptions for medicinal products.
