Abstract
This Act lays down provisions on various aspects of navigation in inland waters as defined in the Water Act (inland waterways). The Act establishes: authorities of inland waters shipping and their tasks; conditions of shipping; requirements for the safety of shipping; proceedings in case of shipping accidents. Only registered vessels can be used for navigation in inland waters. The Annex specifies the fees to be paid for shipping activities.
