Law on plant protection.

The Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Protection of crop plants against harmful organisms (sect. 2); Marketing authorization of plant protection products and authorization of an active substance for the use in plant protection products (sect. 3); Marketing and use of plant protection products (sect. 4); The State Plant Health and Seed Inspection Service (sect. 5); Legal liability (sect. 6). The Law lays down the principles of: protection of plants against harmful organisms; approval of marketing of plant protection products and active ingredients to be used in plant protection products; prevention of the threats for human and animal health as well as environment which may arise during marketing and application of plant protection products; organization of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection Service.
