Regulation on enriching substances added to food.

This Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of eight paragraphs and one Annex, establishes: (1) foodstuffs to which vitamins and minerals are obligatorily added; (2) levels or maximum levels of vitamins and minerals; (3) the list of substances other than vitamins and minerals prohibited in the production of foodstuffs (specified in the Annex). Vitamins and minerals are added to prevent and level insufficiency of one or more nutrients for the whole population or specific groups of human. These provisions do not apply to enriched foodstuffs marketed in Poland and traded in other European Union countries or in EFTA countries.
