Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of ten paragraphs and 12 Annexes, establishes way of classifying the state of uniform parts of surface waters, including: (1) physico-chemical, biological and hydro-morphological elements on the basis of quality factors for individual categories of surface waters; (2) ecological state of waters in natural watercourses, lakes and other natural basins, transitional waters and coastal waters; (3) ecological potential of artificial and modified uniform parts of surface waters; (4) chemical state of modified uniform parts of surface waters and environmental quality standards for priority substances and for other pollutions. The present Act lays down also the way of interpreting results of tests of quality factors specified above, way of assessment of the state of uniform parts of surface waters, way of presenting classification results, and frequency of classifying elements specified above, ecological state, ecological potential and chemical state of uniform parts of surface waters.
