Abstract
This Regulation of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Climate and Environment, which is composed of three articles and four Annexes, lays down provisions relating to the quality and standards of liquid biofuels, including methyl esters, gas oil containing methyl esters, paraffinic diesel, and bioethanol blends, with explicit quality requirements and standards. The document specifies the permissible ranges for these parameters, along with testing methods and interpretation criteria based on current standards like PN-EN and EN ISO. It also delineates the composition standards for biofuels with high FAME content and bioethanol blends, including specific thresholds for parameters such as water content, acidity, and distillation profiles. These measures serve to ensure the quality and compatibility of biofuels with existing engine technologies and environmental standards.
