Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 31 articles aims at organizing the farm system in the Palestinian Authority and it refers to sheep and cattle farms, respectively in Part I and Part II. It establishes that to create a sheep or cattle farm, or expand an existing farm, is required a permit, valid for one year, by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is not allowed establish a farm at a distance less than 50 meters from any sheep or other animal farms and 100 meters from the poultry farms. When obtaining a license must begin to establish the farm within a period not exceeding six months. On suspicion of the existence of any cases of illness at the farm, the administrator must inform the Veterinary Services Directorate to take samples to be tested. The Resolution deals also with rules for preventive safety, registration of raising animals and inspections.
