Abstract
This Resolution sets forth the system of poultry hatcheries and is composed of 18 articles. Article 1 includes some definitions. Article 2 states that a committee formed by a Decree from the Minister will be concerned with license applications, registration and the follow-up of poultry hatcheries as well as making recommendations. Creating a breeding ground of the expansion of hatcheries without a license from the ministry is prohibited (Art.3). All licensing requirements should be abided by before granting the license (Art.4). Article 5 lays down the conditions for the establishment of poultry hatcheries as well as the establishment of a breeding ground. No license may be granted for any hatcheries unless the conditions for the bio security program are present (Art.6). Each owner or tenant of a hatchery has to commit to a preventive safety program (Art.11). Article 12 lays down the requirements for importing hatching eggs. Article 13 states the what the management of hatcheries has to comply with including tests, examinations and cleaning procedures. In case of suspicion of any medical condition at the farm the Directorate of Veterinary Services should be informed and samples should be taken for testing (Art.14). Whoever violates the provisions of this Regulation will be penalized according to the Law of Agriculture (Art. 16).
