Abstract
This Regulation consisting of 15 articles regulates bee breeding activities in Palestine. It mainly provides for (i) apiaries registration in the registers of the Ministry of Agriculture (art.2); (ii) measures to be taken by the Ministry to protect apiaries (art.3); conditions that must be met in the bee sites to be safe (art.4); (iv) compliance with veterinary quarantine rules for the import and export of beehives and queens (art.5); (v) conditions that must be respected to import, produce, display for the sale of the bee wax foundation and related specifications (arts.6 and 7); (vi) preventive measures to be taken to protect apiaries from any epidemics or pests (art.8); (vii) measures to protect vegetation cover and bee pastures (art.9); (viii) conditions for trading honey (art.10); (ix) required fees (art.12).
