Abstract
This Decree approves the Agreement, signed in Lisbon on 25 January 2010. The Agreement consists of 16 articles in which the Parties endeavor to promote the development of tourism sector. To this end, the Parties shall encourage the establishment of relations between their respective national tourism bodies, associations and organizations of the sector, as well as cooperation between tourism enterprises of both countries. The Parties shall encourage the development of bilateral tourism cooperation in the following fields: health tourism and well-being and touring cultural and landscape, organizing vocational training. The Parties shall encourage the exchange of experience and information related to the development of projects and research in the field of tourism, including the areas of crisis management and the effects of climate change. They shall encourage the implementation of promotional tourist activities and participation in fairs organized in their respective countries, including investments by private undertakings. The Parties shall encourage cooperation within the framework of the World Tourism Organization. Any cooperation referred to in this Agreement shall be subject to the respective legislation in force for each Party and the availability of the budget. The Parties shall establish a Joint Committee to promote the development and implementation of the cooperation established in this Agreement.
