Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes a Community control system to ensure compliance with the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy for the application of article 92 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 of 20 November 2009 and article 129 et seq. of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 404/2011 of 8 April 2011. Amendments deal in particular with the enforcement of fines and ancillary sanctions in respect of fishing offences committed in waters under national jurisdiction which shall be under the responsibility of the competent Port captaincy or the master of the port of registry of the vessel or first port of entry, depending on who has investigated the respective process. In addition, it amends infractions and application of illegal activities.
