Decree-Law No. 106/97 approving the Statute of the Veterinary Institution.

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the Veterinary Institution under the Ministry Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries. Its Statute consists of 5 chapters and 1 table establishing composition, duties and competencies of this animal institution entitled to: carry out control on sanitary procedures and on animal products from the production (including animal feedstuff), enforce national policy on the animal health sector.
