Decree-Law No. 16/2017 establishing the multi-municipal water supply system in the South of the Grande Porto and the multi-municipal water sanitation system of Grande Porto and SIMDOURO - S.A. Águas do Douro and Paiva, S.A.

This Decree-Law establishing the multi-municipal water supply system in the South of the Grande Porto and the multi-municipal sanitation system of Grande Porto and SIMDOURO - Grande Porto Water Sanitation, S.A. Águas do Douro and Paiva, S.A. It provides for: the creation of the multi-municipal water supply system in the south of Grande Porto, to the creation and competencies of the society Águas do Douro e Paiva, S.A, with the concession to operate and manage the system Multi-municipal water supply system in the south of Grande Porto, constituting a public service to be exercised exclusively; creation of the multi-municipal sanitation system in Grande Porto, the creation and competencies of the company SIMDOURO - Water Sanitation of Grande Porto, SA, with the concession to operate and manage the multi-municipal Sanitation of Grande Porto, entitled to carry out a public service to be exercised exclusively; corresponding amendment to articles 2, 12 and 32 of Decree-Law No. 93/2015, of 29 May, which created the multi-municipal water supply and sanitation system in the north of Portugal by aggregating related systems.
