Abstract
This Decree-Law is composed of 16 articles and two Annexes. It introduces in the national legal order EC Directives No. 2005/8/CE, 2005/87/CE, 2006/13/CE, 2006/77/CE regulating substances not to be used in animal foodstuff. In particular, the Decree-Law lists the afore-said substances and defines commercialization conditions. The Annexes provide the maximum limits accepted for the substances and intervention procedures.

Decreto-Lei n.º 193/2007: Transpõe para a ordem jurídica interna as Directivas n.os 2005/8/CE, da Comissão, de 27 de Janeiro, 2005/86/CE, da Comissão, de 5 de Dezembro, 2005/87/CE, da Comissão, de 5 de Dezembro, 2006/13/CE, da Comissão, de 3 de Fevereiro, e 2006/77/CE, da Comissão, de 29 de Setembro, que alteram a Directiva n.º 2002/32/CE, do Parlamento Europeu e do Conselho, de 7 de Maio, relativa às substâncias indesejáveis nos alimentos para animais e revoga o Decreto-Lei n.º 235/2003, de 30 de Setembro.
