Abstract
This Decree-Law provides that operators of Portuguese fishing vessels fishing in marine areas outside and not contiguous to marine areas under Portuguese jurisdiction may be authorized to purchase processed fish (but not drysalted cod) for transporting to and landing at Portuguese ports or for processing on board on condition that their catch remains within the quotas established by international agreements or conventions to which Portugal is party. The Decree-Law also revokes Decree-Law No. 1/81 of 7 January 1981.
