Abstract
This Decree-Law defines the general conditions for the marketing of pre-packaged products and lays down the rules on nominal quantities applicable to pre-packaged products, transposing Directive No. 2007/45/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 September into national legislation. It applies to all pre-packaged products intended for marketing in nominal unit quantities or capacities of 5 g or 5 ml or more and 10 kg or 10 litres or less. This Decree-Law shall not apply to products listed in paragraph 2 of Annex I, sold in duty-free shops for consumption outside the European Union.
