This Decree-Law approves EC Council Directive No. 88/657 of 14 December, establishing requirements to be satisfied by mince-treated meat (and meat pieces less than 100 grs. of weight). It establishes labelling and packaging requirements (according to Ministerial Decree No. 119/93 of 2 February), controls and sanctions to be applied for offenders. It also prescribes fees to be paid to national authorities.
