Decree-Law No. 377/80 on sanctions for illegal foreign fishing activity.

This Decree-Law prescribes the legal procedures to be applied in case of offence and amends the values of sanctions to be paid by offenders for illegal activity (according to the different gross tonnage fishing vessel), established by Decree-Law No. 49.947 on foreign fishing, as follows: a) Until 20 t, from 10000$00 to 500000$00; b) from 21 t to 50 t, 200000$00 - 1000000$00; c) From 51 t to 100 t, 400000$00 - 2000000$00; d) From 101 t to 200 t, 800000$00 - 4000000$00; e) From 201 t to 500 t, 1600000$00 - 8000000$00; f) From 501 t to 1000 t, 3200000$00 - 16000000$00; g) Exceeding 1000 t, 6400000$00.
