This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 110/93 of 10 April (arts. 3-6) (approving EU Council Directive No. 89/662/EU of 16 June concerning veterinary controls on animals destined for trade within the European Union). These articles prescribe veterinary requirements for animal trade within EU territory, and sanctions for non compliance, established by the Institute for the Protection of Agricultural Food Production (IPPAA).
