Abstract
This Decree-Law lays down the rules for implementing, at national level, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1019/2002 of 13 June 2002 on marketing standards for olive oil, as last amended by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 182/2009 of 6 March 2009, and establishes the conditions to be observed in obtaining, processing and marketing olive oil and olive-pomace oil. For the purposes of this Decree-Law, the designations and definitions of olive oil and olive-pomace oil shall be those laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 of 22 October 2007 establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products.
