Abstract
This Decree-Law, consisting of 5 Chapters, creates the forestry register for operators who carry out any activity related to timber and who place timber products on the market. In addition, it establishes offences and penalties for offenders who perform any illegal activity related to timber or timber products, according to Regulation (EU) No. 995/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the obligations of operators who place timber and timber products on the market.
