Decree No. 22/2023 approving the cooperation agreement between Portugal and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tomé e Principe in the sector of tourism.

This Decree approves the Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe on Cooperation in the field of Tourism, signed in Lisbon on 13 March 2019. The cooperation between the Parties in the field of Tourism will be developed at the level of Training and Knowledge, Promotion, Investments and cooperation within the scope of International Organizations, not excluding other areas that may be identified through mutual agreement between the Parties. The Parties shall promote Training in the field of tourism through training of trainers, training of students and advice on the implementation of training systems. The Parties will also promote the exchange of information, legislation and knowledge in the field of Tourism between both countries.
