Abstract
This Order approves the Statute of the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA, I. P.). The Statute, consisting of 16 articles, specifies composition, duties and responsibilities of Departments and administrations headed by regional directors and administrators, as follows: Department of Climate Change; Department of Environmental Management; Department of Water Resources; Department of Coastal and Coastal Protection; Department of Waste; Department of Environmental Licensing Management; Department of Strategy and Economic Analysis; Department of Environmental Assessment; Finance and General Resources Department; Legal Department; Department of Communication and Environmental Citizenship; Department of International Affairs; Department of Technologies and Information Systems and Administrations of Hydrographic Region.
