This Order regulates the production, certification and placing on the market of viticulture propagative materials. It consists of 6 chapters and 5 annexes which regulate the different types of viticulture propagative materials, establish the requirements to be met in order to obtain a viticulture certification, duties and obligations of producers, controls on production, import-export and placing on the market of such plant). Annex I prescribes the requirements to be observed for the classification of grapevine varieties, morphological characteristics, etc. Annex II establishes the phytosanitary requirements to be satisfied (by listing a table of pests and diseases). Annex III deals with the necessary labelling requirements. Annex IV lays down planting material dimensions and other standards. Annex V prescribes packaging conditions for planting material.
