This Order establishes the operation regime 3.1.2 «Young farmers investment on the agricultural holding», included in action 3.1 «Young farmers» of measure 3, «Valorisation of agricultural production» of the Mainland's Rural Development Programme (PDR 2020). Planned support pursues the following objectives: a) fostering the renewal and rejuvenation of agricultural enterprises and the agro-industrial production structure, enhancing creation, innovation, food quality and safety, production of goods and internationalization of the sector; b) strengthening the viability and competitiveness of agricultural holdings by promoting innovation, sustainable management, organizational capacity-building and the resizing of enterprises; c) preserving the environment, ensuring compatibility of investments with environmental standards and health and safety at work. Those who may benefit from mentioned supports are: a) Young farmers; b) Legal persons representing a limited company with the agricultural activity in the corporate purpose, provided that the managing partners are young farmers and hold a majority of the capital stock and individually a share of more than 25% in the share capital.
