Abstract
This Order, consisting of 3 articles and 1 Annex, establishes closing season for specific fish species (identified in the Annex) prohibiting fishing addressed to the stock concerned, getting the respective limit to catches up to 5% of the total landing by the vessel in each fishing tide. These are the above mentioned specie: Flatfish (Lepidorhombus spp.); Jack mackerels (Trachurus spp.); Marlin-blue (of the Atlantic Makaira nigricans); Marlin white (Tetrapturus albidus); Alfonsinos (Beryx spp.); Sole (Solea spp.); Goosefish (Lophiida); Rays (Rajiformes); Mackerel (Scomber scombrus); Blue whiting (poutassou Micromesistus). This Order establishes the date of closing fishing, communicated by the Director General of Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services to Governments departments of the Azores and Madeira. The General Directorate of Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services and relevant regional departments also disclose the closure of fishing by the respective associations and organizations responsible for the first sale of fish.
