Abstract
This Order, consisting of 6 articles, establishes the procedure for the recognition of forest management entities (EGF) and forest management units (UGF), as well as the criteria for assessing their management capacity, as provided for in Decree-Law no. 66/2017, of 12 June and Law No. 111/2017 of 19 December. The acknowledgment is subject to the submission of an application by the interested party, upon submission to the EGF/UGF digital platform (available at www.icnf.pt). The application shall be accompanied by the following elements. In the case of EGF: a) Identification of the person responsible, before the ICNF, I.P., for all EGF procedures, in particular for the purposes of notification of the decisions that fall on it, and demonstration of delegation of powers to the act by the bodies of the legal person; b) Statutes of the corporate body, duly updated, whose corporate purpose is forestry, forestry management and exploitation and, in the case of associations, the provision of services to its members in those areas; c) Listing of rustic properties owned by EGF, its associates or third parties, whose right to use has been transferred to the EGF and declaration by the person in charge of how the EGF has signed a written contract for its management, etc.
In the case of UGF: a) Identification data of the person in charge, before the ICNF, IP, for all the procedures related to the UGF, and demonstration of delegation of powers to the act by the party of the corporate body; b) Statutes of the legal person constituted in accordance with the provisions of paragraph c) of article 6-A of Decree-Law No. 66/2017 of 12 June, republished in annex to Law no. 111/2017 of 19 December, which has forestry, forest management and exploration as its corporate purpose, and may also have as its corporate purpose agriculture, livestock extensive grazing in forestry areas, and the exploitation of other economic activities that do not harm its object main social; c) Title of ownership of each of the owners in cooperatives or associations, etc.
