Order No. 743/92 regulating poultry slaugthering, deboning, cutting and marketing within EEC countries.

This Order regulates poultry slaugthering, deboning, cutting and marketing within EC countries. It consists of 15 chapters and 6 annexes defining animal parts to be exploited, regulating external trade and listing sanitary procedure to be carried out. This Order specifies slaughter-house, meat treatment, transport and storage sanitary requirements. It also lists sanitary controls (ante and post mortem) to be carried by competent authorities in order to avoid animal diseases, animal markings, sanitary inspection, packaging and labelling requirements, etc. Annexes lays down the model forms in order to obtain a sanitary certificate.
