Abstract
This Order establishes the seventh amendment to the Lima River Fisheries Regulation, approved by Order No. 561/90 of 19 July, as amended by Order No. 17-A/99, of 12 January; No. 27/2001 of 15 January; No. 38-B/2001 of 17 January; No. 80/2004 of 21 January; No. 1220/2010 of 3 December; and No. 23/2017 of 12 January. Amendments deal with permitted period to Lamprey fishing: from May 1 to December 31, included, as well as in the period of intermediate closure, between the sunset on March 29 and the sunset on April 3; In the intermediate closure period the use of drift trammel nets is still prohibited. The intermediate closure period provided for may be amended by order of the Director-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services, taking into account the conservation and management needs of the resources, after hearing the representatives of the sector.
