Abstract
This Order establishes quota restrictions in 2013 for sardine fishing (Scomber scombrus) to be caught in water under Portuguese jurisdiction. It specifies that in zones: VIIIc, IX, X, defined by the International Council for Marine Exploitation (CIEM) and division 34.1.1, defined by the Fisheries Committee in Central-Eastern Atlantic Ocean (CECAF) a maximum allowed quota is established from 1 January to 30 June 2013, for sardine fish species, caught by the National fleet within the above mentioned fishing areas. Between 00:00 of Monday and 24:00 of Sunday each fishing vessel has a maximum allowance of 40 tons of sardine landing.
