Order No. 92-D/2017 amending Order No 1102-G/2000 regulating the Purse seine fishing.

This Order amends Order No 1102-G/2000 regulating the Purse seine fishing. Amendments establish for the year 2017, an exceptional regime for the capture of by-catch species in purse-seine fisheries, as provided for in art. 7(2) of the Regulation, approved by Order No. 1102-G/2000 of 22 November, amended by Order No. 346/2002, of 2 April and Order No. 397/2007 of 4 April. Article 2 specifies that exceptionally, vessels licensed for Purse seine fishing and subject to the obligation to fill fishing logbooks are allowed to land, on each trip, for a limit of 20 trips by the end of 2017, a percentage of by-catch species greater than 20%. This Order is in force until 31 December 2017.
