Abstract
This Order approves protective measures for specific crops. It is composed of 7 chapters (29 articles) establishing competencies, duties and composition of the National Department for Plant Varieties Protection (CENARVE). It also defines propagative materials for growing and reproducing plants as well as propagative techniques (art. 3). Article 7 establishes protected plant species. Chapter III lays down the requirements to obtain (or continue) a plant protection regime granted by CENARVE. Chapter VII prescribes the fees to be paid.
