Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 48/2020 regulating the governing model for the implementing the National Programme for Territorial Planning Policy.

This Resolution, under article 3 of Law No. 99/2019 of 5 September and article 199 of the Constitution, the Council of Ministers resolves to carry out the following activities: 1 - Regulate the governing model for the implementation of the National Programme for Territorial Planning Policy (PNPOT). 2 - Establish that the governance structure of the PNPOT is ensured by the Intersectoral Forum coordinated by the Directorate-General for Territory (DGT). 3 - Determine that the Intersectoral Forum's mission is to: a) Follow-up, monitor and evaluate the execution of the PNPOT and the preparation of the State of Territorial Planning Report (REOT); b) Contribute to the production of information and knowledge about the territory, providing all the information necessary for the production of national indicators; c) Streamline the implementation of the policy measures contained in the Agenda for the Territory.
