Abstract
This Act prohibits: to engage in or assist in bottom trawling in the territorial sea or Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Palau; to engage in or assist in bottom trawling anywhere in the world by Palauan nationals or vessels or any business entity, regardless of type, which is registered in or otherwise licensed to do business in the Republic of Palau. The Act prescribes civil and criminal penalties for offences committed under this Act.
