Abstract
The Palau Fish and Game Commission is charged with conserving and developing the marine and terrestrial resources of the Republic. The Commission shall consist of the fisheries management biologist, the staff entomologist and 5 members appointed by the President. Duties include study on conservation needs of the Republic and effectiveness and enforcement of present conservation laws, issuing of rules and regulations as deemed necessary by the Commission for the carrying out of provisions of conservation laws of the Republic, and the recommendation of specific legislation with regard to conservation of marine and terrestrial wildlife resources including minimum age and size of animals and requirements and conditions for fishing and hunting licences.
