KSPL No. K8-204-2008 Rules Regulations Recycling Efforts Act.

This Act authorizes the Governor to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the implementation, coordination, and enforcement of recycling efforts in the State of Koror. Such comprehensive regulations may include definitions, implementation of "3R" ("Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle") efforts, establishment of recycling requirements for homes, businesses, and government entities, solid waste collection activities and requirements, a permitting system for recycling, development and implementation of further solid waste management plaits, public information programs and projects, enforcement efforts including penalties, and any incidental matters relating to recycling efforts. The regulations must be approved and adopted by the Legislature before becoming effective. Such rules and regulations shall have the force and effect of law, and may be enforced in the courts of the Republic of Palau.
