Cabinet Resolution No. 37 of 2025 establishing the National Committee for Combating Environmental Damage and Violations.

This Resolution, consisting of 11 articles, establishes within the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change a National Committee for Combating Environmental Damage and Violations. The Committee is tasked with developing and overseeing a national framework to address environmental harm, coordinating with government entities, identifying challenges and proposing solutions, and recommending relevant legislation, policies, and preventive measures. It also works to strengthen environmental monitoring, analyze the causes of violations, coordinate national enforcement efforts, and promote public awareness and participation in environmental protection. The Committee may form subcommittees or engage experts to support its work, while all government entities are required to cooperate and provide necessary information. It submits a semiannual report with its findings and recommendations to the Minister.
