Abstract
Convention establishes international customs transit system to move goods in sealed vehicles or containers; from customs offices of departure to customs offices of destination between countries; avoiding extensive border control measures; while providing customs security and guarantees. Covers customs transit by road and also other modes of transport (rail, inland waterway, maritime), if at least a part of the total transport is made by road.
