Abstract
The Decree proclaims the territorial sea of the State of Qatar of twelve nautical miles "measured from the baselines determined in accordance with the rules of international law" and a Contiguous Zone with a breadth of twelve nautical miles measured from the outer limit of the Territorial Sea (arts. 2 and 3). The Cabinet shall issue the decisions necessary for the implementation of this Decree (art. 4).
