Abstract
This Law indicates the Ministry of Environmental Affairs as the national body concerning specifications, standards and quality control. The Law consists of 3 articles. The competencies of the Ministry are indicated in article 1, and they are: preparing and issuing, in coordination with the concerned authorities, technical regulations and standards necessary for goods, materials, raw materials, products, machinery and tools; preparing and issuing bylaws and regulations regarding the granting of a quality label and certificate of conformity and accreditation of non-governmental laboratory and service agencies; determining fees for licenses related to examination, conformity and quality mark certificates; determining prices for sale technical regulations, standards and related bulletins and publications.
