Enact No. 9 of 1969 on peddlers.

This Decree is composed of 18 articles. Article 1 deals wit terms and definitions. Article 2 prohibits the practising of the peddler profession before the obtainment of previous licences from the Municipality of Qatar. Article 3 fixes the validity of licences. Article 6 defines categories of persons prohibited to practise the peddler profession. Article 8 entrusts the Municipality of Qatar to establish and define places for peddlers. Article 9 defines requirements for the sale of beverages and food. Articles 10 and 11 pertain to applications and documents. Article 12 entrusts the Municipality of Qatar to keep a register for peddlers. Article 16 contains offences and penalties.
