Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 9 articles outlines several prohibitions related to maritime fishing. It bans the use, transport, or possession of certain fishing tools such as trammel nets, nylon nets, and bottom trawl nets, unless authorized by the relevant authorities (art.1). Additionally, specific fishing methods are restricted, such as the use of gillnets in waters deeper than 10 meters and spearfishing from December to April (art.2). Divers are prohibited from using certain equipment like compressed air spearguns or diving at night (art.3). There are also regulations on the minimum mesh sizes for various types of nets and restrictions on using lights to attract fish (art.4 and 5). Plastic bags are also banned on fishing boats (art.6), and exceptions are made for individuals or entities conducting scientific research (art.7).
