Ministerial Resolution No.16 of 2018 on the controls of transport of waste, and the means to be followed in the disposal process.

This Resolution consisting of 4 articles aims at regulating the waste transport and establishes at article 1 that the garbage may not be transported without means of transport belonging to the competent Municipality or the contractor appointed by it. The article specifies conditions and specifications relating to capacity, general state of the vehicle, linings, labeling, allocation and age of the means. The body responsible for transporting the waste must rehabilitate the drivers and make sure they are in possession of the necessary safety precautions while driving (art.2). Other provisions deal with timing and itinerary.
