Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development from Romania and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives from the Kingdom of Thailand regarding cooperation in agriculture.

Within their powers and in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in each country, the contracting parties will promote and encourage technical, scientific and economic cooperation in the field of agriculture between their research institutes, economic units and other organizations in agriculture in the two states. The contracting parties may conclude additional agreements which establish the implementation of programs or projects, which may include details such as, for example, their objectives, work plans, schemes, means of financing, participating organizations, project managers and the obligations of the contracting parties. The cooperation between the contracting parties shall be carried out in the following main fields: (a) plant production, seeds and genetic material of high productivity; (b) animal production, improvement of animal breeds, artificial insemination and superior genetic material; (c) modern technologies in the field of agricultural production, irrigation and soil improvement; (d) rural development and services consultancy; and (e) other related fields, which are of interest and mutually agreed upon by the contracting parties.
