Agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning from Romania and the Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development from the Republic of Hungary regarding cooperation in the field of spatial planning.

Abstract
The main areas of cooperation between the Parties shall be the following: (a) the elaboration of common land use proposals for common cross-border areas; (b) the correlation and harmonization of the regulations and methods used in the field of territorial planning and urban development, as well as in the introduction of a regional computerized system; (c) exchange of information regarding the implementation of quality requirements, technical regulations and standardization of buildings; and (d) exchange of information in the field of territorial planning, urban development, construction management, in correlation with integration into the European Union.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date on which the Romanian side notifies the Hungarian side through diplomatic channels about the fulfillment of the internal legal procedures necessary for the approval of the Agreement.
Notes
This Agreement is valid for a period of 5 years and will be automatically extended for another period of 4 years, if neither party denounces it in writing, notifying the other party at least 6 months before the expiration date.
