Abstract
The contracting parties will undertake joint activities in the following fields, in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture and the food industry: (a) exchange of samples of new and existing varieties of field plants, vegetables and fruits and cooperation in the field of seed and planting material production; (b) artificial insemination, animal breeding and selection in animal husbandry; (c) exchange of genetic and biological materials used in plant culture and animal husbandry; (d) exchange of information regarding the production, certification and marketing of ecological agro-food products; (e) exchange of experience on the efficient use of land, soil improvement, the application of agrotechnical measures and advanced irrigation methods; (f) exchange of information on the establishment of agricultural service enterprises, new machine systems and agricultural technologies; (g) encouraging mutual investments in the production, processing and marketing of agricultural commodities with the use of modern technologies, as well as in infrastructure and marketing of agricultural commodities and supporting the establishment of joint ventures; (h) cooperation in the field of agricultural scientific research by supporting the establishment of direct relations between scientific research units in the agricultural sector; and (i) supporting the participation of economic operators and agri-food specialists in symposia, seminars, conferences, economic missions, fairs and exhibitions in the agricultural field organized in Romania and in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement will enter into force on the date of receipt of the second notification by which the contracting parties inform each other about the fulfillment of the internal procedures necessary for its entry into force.
Notes
This Agreement will remain in force for a period of 5 years, which can be tacitly renewed, if none of the contracting parties communicates through diplomatic channels to the other contracting party, with at least 6 months before the expiration date of the respective period, its decision to terminate this Agreement.
