Cooperation Agreement in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

The contracting parties, within the limits of their competence and in accordance with the legislation in force in each state, will promote cooperation between businesses, institutions and economic operators from the two states, which carry out their activity in the field of agriculture and the food industry. The contracting parties will support and develop collaboration in the following fields: (a) plant production: crops, horticulture, viticulture, fruit growing; (b) animal production: artificial insemination, embryo transfer, biotechnologies; (c) mechanization of agricultural works; (d) food processing industry; (e) rural development; (f) agricultural consultancy services; and (g) scientific research. The collaboration between the contracting parties will be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange of information of mutual interest, normative acts, product samples; (b) joint realization of scientific research and the application of their results; (c) the introduction of modern technologies in plant and animal production and in the food industry; (d) supporting the establishment of joint-ventures; (e) mutual exchange of information regarding events related to scientific and economic events in the field of agriculture and the food industry (organization of fairs, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, symposia, etc.); (f) joint organization of training programs; and (g) exchange of specialists and the organization of meetings on issues of mutual interest.
