Abstract
The general meetings of the agricultural cooperatives in the hill-mountain and pre-urban areas can decide on the allocation, from the surface owned by the cooperative, of arable and fertile land for long-term agricultural use to the cooperative members from the respective communes or villages. Within these areas, vineyards or orchards can also be assigned. The land areas are allotted to the people who work them and obtain good productions, without hiring other labor. The general assemblies of the agricultural cooperatives in the hill-mountain and pre-urban areas can organize cooperation actions, based on the contract, with the cooperative members who want to take over animals for keeping. The pasture areas of the agricultural cooperatives in the hill-mountain and pre-urban areas will be used as communal pastures. The general meetings of the agricultural cooperatives in the other areas can decide on the allocation of lots in use of up to 5,000 square meters of arable land or equivalent agricultural land to each cooperative member or cooperative pensioner, as well as mechanizers and other workers from the entities for the mechanization of agriculture, with the obligation that they carry out in the cooperative the volume of work and, respectively, the established mechanized works. Owners of lands, given for use according to the provisions of this decree-law, who do not cultivate them in good conditions or use them for purposes other than agricultural production, lose the right to use them, based on the decision of the general assembly of the agricultural cooperative or, as the case may be, of the management of the state agricultural unit.
