Decree No. 233 of the National Assembly establishing the procedure for the manufacturing and selling vinegar.

This Decree establishes that vinegar will be manufactured from vinegar essence. The vinegar thus manufactured is the product obtained by diluting the essence of vinegar (acetic acid) with water. The essence of vinegar (acetic acid) is a product resulting from the distillation of wood. The manufacturing of vinegar from other alcoholic liquids (wine, alcohol, etc.) can only be done with a prior approval given by way of decision by the Ministry of Industry.
