Abstract
Program to support the production of vegetables in protected areas for the year 2022 establishes the procedure for allocation of state support in the agricultural sector, namely the granting of a de minimis aid to support the production of vegetables in protected areas for the year 2022. The de minimis aid scheme applies throughout Romania in 2022, to support the production of vegetables in protected areas, as follows: (a) tomatoes - Solanum lycopersicum L – grown in the cycle I or II production cycle; (b) bell pepper and/or long pepper - capia – Capsicum annuum L - cultivated in the II production cycle; (c) cucumbers - Cucumis sativus L - cultivated in the II production cycle; (d) pod beans - Phaseolus vulgaris L - cultivated in the II production cycle; (e) lettuce - Lactuca sativa L - cultivated in the II production cycle; (f) spinach - Spinacea oleracea L - cultivated in the II production cycle; and (g) green onion - Allium cepa L - cultivated in the II production cycle. De minimis aid shall be intended aid granted to an enterprise, the cumulative value of which over the course of three financial years, the financial year and in the case of two previous financial years, it does not exceed the equivalent in lei of the amount of 20,000 euros. The de minimis aid scheme is granted to enterprises/individual entrepreneurs that operate in the field of production of primaries of agricultural products, to support the production of vegetables in protected areas. The sums representing de minimis aid are paid to the beneficiaries in a single installment, per production cycle, in the year 2022. The officials appointed within the Regional Directorate for Agriculture (DAJ), after completing all checks of the eligibility conditions, establish the related amounts representing de minimis aid, for each eligible beneficiary, draw up the centralizing statement of the approved amounts representing de minimis aid, according to the model provided in the Annex 5, and forward it to the General Directorate of Budget-Finance and European Funds within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, until July 15, 2022 inclusive, for the I production cycle, and, respectively, December 20, 2022 inclusive, for the II cycle of production.
